Signature Healthcare Foundation was formed in 2002 by Signature Medical Group, Inc. with a vision to “be a recognized leader in the local and regional healthcare dialogue and spearhead physician leadership in improvements and efficiencies in the healthcare delivery system.”



Signature’s core values include an emphasis on maximizing efficient business practices, change through individuals and encouraging informed healthcare policy and decisions through the distribution of information. Signature Medical Group, Inc., the founding organization, is a nearly 100 member physician practice specializing in orthopedics, obstetrics/gynecology, gynecology onocolgoy, dermatology, gastroenterology, colorectal and allergy/immunology.



The mission of the Foundation is to utilize physician leadership to improve the quality, efficiency and affordability of healthcare in the St. Louis community. Through the work of the Foundation, it is hoped that more effective business practices and increased physician leadership will ultimately result in increased quality and cost savings which can translate into increased medical care for individuals.
